Indie singer-songwriter Luke Friend, who found fame on The X Factor in 2013, has released his debut single ‘Hole In My Heart’.

Nearly 2 years after auditioning for the popular TV show, the young singer is now putting the final pieces together for his album and upcoming headlining tour; much to his fans delight.

Since coming third on The X Factor, Luke has been working hard on producing music, writing his own songs, as well as co-writing with such artists as Mike Duce from Lower Than Atlantis and Scouting For Girls.

In preparation for his upcoming tour in April, Luke has toured with boy band sensations The Vamps, and just last week performed at Janofest at Wembley.

To celebrate the release of his first single, Luke held a party with a few lucky fans!

Luke interacted with everybody before performing a few songs; some of his original songs, some of his new material and a few covers that got him to where he is today.

After performing, he took some questions and then took the time to sit down with everyone individually, up close and personal, and made sure that everyone got to spend some time with him.

It was a great atmosphere and was a great way for not only the fans to interact with their favourite artist but for Luke himself to experience his new music with the people who support him every single day.

Watch this space, because I think this boy is going to do incredibly well in the upcoming future, he deserves every bit of success, his talent is insane.
